Naveen was born and grown up in Varanasi ( Banares ) the holy and ancient city of India. Naveen is a photographic artist who specializes in evocative images of the natural world. The love for nature has been in his blood for as long as he can remember. His passion for the nature is strongly evident in his images. For Naveen, photography is the means by which he strives to engender in others a feeling of unity with the natural world. There remains the on going challenges to portray life in all its manifestations and create images that reveal the very essence of what it is to be a living being. Naveen had always been dreaming of roaming in the jungle since his childhood, but he could not fulfil his desire until 1995, when he went on his very first jungle safari in world famous Corbett National Park, India along with his ideal and brother-in-law Mr. Dhananjai Mohan, a renowned birdwatcher, wildlife expert, environmentalist and highly acclaimed forest officer in Indian Forest Service (IFS). Despite belonging to a business class family, its Naveen's adoration for the nature that he changed his career to adopt the precarious life of a nature photographer. Be it jungle or trekking in Himalaya, Naveen ventures alone, accompanying his cameras and tons of passion. Such a life style demands uncompromising commitment and passion.
